Not easy to spot but this is on two sites, interesting view on beam engines, nice shop but for me the height of the buildings and steps were a bit much, but if you don't have vertigo enjoy!

Excellent place to visit lovely staff and so interesting super film to watch before you start and my husband had a brilliant chap with the gentleman in the engine house

Do stop if you are around Redruth: very interesting National Trust site on Cornwall mining past: engine rooms, how tin and copper were extracted... plus there are guides on site extremely knowledgeable and willing to explain and show you around, the guides are truly amazing...More

The engine house is amazing. Very informative and friendly staff. Earl explained all about the mine and its history. Very enjoyable visit across two sites.

Now owned by National Trust. Interesting interactive exhibit. Volunteers were friendly and knowledgeable. Lots of youngsters there engaging in and enjoying the quiz sheets. Fabulous working exhibit.
