Firstly, we found the staff here couldn't be more helpful or accomodating. Although we didn't go down the mine, information was plentiful and staff members knowledgeable. Nice cafe and pleasant, well stocked gift shop. Lots of things to look at and appreciate the history of.
Geevor Tin mine gives a very real feel for the life of mining in this part of Cornwall. There is an excellent geology section and many of the working parts of the mine are still available.
