A classic English pub, full of character. Has it’s own brewery producing the famous Spingo ales, treat with respect ! Doesn’t do food but pasties can be bought next door A real gem

Visited here as a trip down memory lane for hubby and we all enjoyed it. Great atmosphere, nice warm fire, quirky building - and a great pint, Spingo!!! Definitely worth a visit and a taste of their own beer. Fantastic.

Visited on Boxing Day 2017, what a great atmosphere, Morris dancing and a good Cornish sing song, absolutely packed with people but my family and I had a seat in the covered beer garden area which was very warm and comfortable, would recommend this pub.

If in Helston you must visit this place if you like real ale or real pubs. The interior is spread either side of an 'alleyway' with small cosy rooms and a lovely old bar. A good selection of ales including those brewed on-site! A real...More

Local colour and interest abounds here. It is a quirky and individual old pub with plenty of charm. Full of atmosphere and character. Definitely worth a visit.
