A lovely stretch of beach, with only a handful of people on it on a lovely afternoon in August. It's not sand, though: it's small pebbles. And it drops away quite quickly as you get into the waves. But gorgeous views and clearly not too...More
Doesn't get much better than this, one of those beaches that enables you to sit and relax for hours on end, without any form of disturbance. Parking is easy and the roads accessing the beach aren't of any concern. Would highly recommend.
Two different beaches, one sandy and one rocky both great in their own way. Sandy one has life guards. Strange little church worth a visit. Little food kiosk doing ice cream, chips, tea and coffee etc...National Trust car park with machines and on our visit...More

The beach is secluded and in a beautiful location, just between two hills which you can walk up and look at the stunning views of the sea. When at low tide there is plenty of space to play around on, and is not tightly packed...More
Lovely little beach mainly pebble/stones but does have a fair bit of sand, particularly at low tide, plenty of rocks to climb and rock pools to explore, very close to National Trust car park and refreshment kiosk, well worth a visit.
