Beautiful clean and pet freindly beach. Be careful though as has some quick sand. Also the seagulls are quick to take your bags if left unattended

Crantock beach has to be one of the best beaches in the UK. Stunning scenery and easy access from the National Trust car park. Dog friendly all year round which is an added bonus.

Absolutely fantastic beach with the tidal River Gannel alongside. Room for everyone. Large car park with toliets. Limited refreshments and ice cream on the beach plus sun bed/windbreak hire. Attracts families and also plenty of dogs!

Fab beach vast and interesting, caves at one end cross the river on the ferry between May and Sept for the Fern Pit Café opposite which is also wonderful

Stunning beach, clean and not very busy. The tide was out so we walked out for what felt like miles.

We have been to Crantock beach a few times but this is the first with a puppy in tow - and we loved it even more. Beautiful surroundings, safe for the dog to be off his lead, and easily accessed from the car park.

We parked in the NT car park which is next to the beach. Just a walk up & over one sand dune to reach this beautiful beach. Dog friendly. We visited in Easter so not too busy, can imagine in summer it would be incredibly...More
