This is basically 3 rooms. One is about daphne du Maurier, the next a few smuggling artefacts and finally a room with a 10 minute film. It’s relatively interesting for adults but our kids were bored. It’s not a family friendly museum.

Well worth a visit. Lady on reception very welcoming and inciteful before you go in. First part is Daphne D'maurier museum then smugglers museum with ten minute video at the end.

The museum is interesting, but it’s not worth the entrance fee. £3.50 per adult or a pass for two Adults and one child is £10. You’ll spend about 15mins wondering around looking at the few artefacts and reading about the Inns history. This is followed...More

We stayed at the Inn and just had to go in the museum, if you are a guest then the entrance fee is only £2.95 which is good value. The museum is not big but is packed with smuggling memorabilia and a room is dedicated...More

A clever addition to the inn however Not enough information or content, quite disappointing. May appeal more to children.

Yes it's not a big museum and yes it's not that cheep a visit. But it is reasonably interesting and informative. Worth a visit if you are visiting the Inn.

Worth a visit if you are in the area. Friendly staff provide plenty of information in addition to what is already available in the museum.
