A remarkable building with beautiful stained glass windows and a great history. The silent soldiers were very thought provoking. We saw laminated notices on the church railings and then around the town of Bridlington which related to specific soldiers who had lived or worked at...More

The Priory is well worth a visit - a fine example of medieval architecture. The silent soldiers sitting in the pews ‘Remembering the Fallen’ at the Priory. Such a simple but moving tribute to the Great War heroes of Bridlington. Their names & ages bring...More

Very interesting church. Lots of history. And free! - unlike York. Very helpful guides and informative leaflets.

Second visit, lovely stained glass windows, we were told that all types of music from rock to an eighty group of gospel singers and even an elvis as well as church services are a regular occurrence in this lovely old church

Visited this because a friends husband did a sculpture for this place. People were helpful in finding the sculpture at the bottom of the graveyard. Grandson did the (Thompson) mouse quiz and managed to find them all

Although the front and towers are Victorian, the priory church is the remaining part of a very large Augustinian medieval priory, first built over 900 years ago. Go around the outside and see the remains of the cloister, good display boards.
