Not been to Elsecar before, a fascinating place. Stalls were reasonably priced, good variety and friendly atmosphere. LOVED Ruby's ice cream, super home made ice cream

Very busy as a craft fair, interesting place, first visit. Train running, great for kids.cafes etc.In the main building was the craft fair, many stalls Inc Bric a brac and local food suppliers.

Beautifully preserved and some lovely shops in this excellent attraction. A huge free car park and lots to see and do - go down to the railway to watch steam and diesel engines in action. A very enjoyable few hours spent hear

Some nice shops, cafes and pubs but not what I was expecting. I thought they may be a museum or two but there isn’t. Was nice but we won’t rush back.

Elsecar can always be relied on for putting on interesting events, this weekends seaside event was one of those. Plenty of activities for the children, the steam train was running and the craft fair, antiques centre and some unusual stall kept the adults entertained as...More

There is a cafe at the site but whether it will be open on a Sunday I don’t know.

Yes there are a couple of cafes and both serve hot food as well as snacks
