Very educational for the young children, loads to see and do , recommended for a family day out . Loads of little shops and a short trip on the old railway is a must for the younger generation.

I had heard of Elsecar so chose to visit between Christmas and new year. It’s really a retail development with a touch of heritage. A large “antiques” showroom, a children’s play zone I’m canteen and an “events area” are the key attractions. There is then...More

Being a resident of Elsecer, the heritage centre is a great site built from the workshops of the NCB. And what a fantastic achievement it has made to our village. Just needs a kitchen putting in the pub next door!! It would do a bomb!!🤑

Very impressed with the Halloween train. Have been on the santa train and easter bunny train in previous years and the Halloween train was by far the best. Lots of interaction from the characters on board, and just the right level of ‘scare’ for children....More

Great to see lots of food suppliers in this great space. Loved the environment and the food and drink on offer. It is a nice place to visit and there are numerous small business owners trying their best. It's a bit of a niche place...More

Yes Elsecar is very dog friendly. There's even a café that lets dogs in with well behaved humans. Just over the road is a big park and lake to walk around.
