Visited recently with my small children. Excellent prices, friendly staff. Definitely found a new favourite. Soft drinks, alcoholic drinks and sweets etc all at reasonable prices - even better that you can take your glass of wine in with you! Definitely my new cinema. Cash...More

Just got from my first visit to this fabulous cinema. I've driven past countless times and always said that I would visit. Well I have now and I won't be going back to any of the many local multiscreen cinemas from now on. They will...More

I was treated to a family membership of The Savoy for my birthday which provoked me to visit for the first time - quite ashamed and embarrassed given that it is so local. It is superb! Good value - esp with membership - lovely to...More

What a great experience visiting a cinema where value for money & comfort is the driver. No wonder it was full. We missed seeing a film at our usual venue (a multiplex) noticed the film was showing at the Savoy, so only 25 mins away...More

Ever since this place has been taken over & refurbed I have always gone to watch movies here. Miles better than cineworld. Great for a date night. Staff are always helpful & friendly. Reasonable prices to 😁

Visited the Savoy to see the Darkest Hour. Welcoming and comfortable. Enjoyed a glass of wine whilst sitting in a luxury seat complete with cushion and leg room for extra comfort. Missing was the typical stench of old food and dirt with sticky floors and...More

Modern films in old time cinema. A choice of different types of comfortable seats with a good variety of liquid refreshment which you are able to purchase and have at your seat. We went to watch Darkest Hour, perhaps the audience was special that evening;...More

Was bought a gift voucher for here and enjoyed a very pleasant evening. Really comfortable seats (we did have the luxury ones) with plenty of room to spread out. Service was excellent on arrival and shown to our seats by an "usherette" (that doesn't sound...More

We cannot believe the poor comments about this cinema. We have been members since it re-opened and visit regularly. The staff are extremely helpful, the bar prices are cheaper than local pubs and the comfort is first class. It is our favourite cinema.

I don’t usually write reviews however from the service and experience we received yesterday I felt obliged too. I called the day before the film to make my reservation, I was told the sofa seats which I were interested in had been sold out but...More

There is on-street parking and a small pay car park nearby. Top tip! Turn up early, have a meal in one of the eateries within 'spitting' distance and you won't be disappointed.
