Very small local pub in the undebank district of Stockport. Called in at lunch but was only customer . Had a half pint of a good lager I had never heard of but enjoyed.

No complaints about the price or quality of the drinks. What ruined the occasion were the number of (I suppose) regulars who couldn't mind their own business and weren't half as funny as they thought they were. Agree with the previous comment that it feels...More

Good beer at favourable prices. There does seem to be favouritism towards intimidating regulars which made my stay shorter than I would have liked!

A Sam Smith's Gem! Having moved from Stockport have not been in for 10 years and couldn't believe it hasn't changed, cheap excellent ale, unspoilt, a real old fashion pub with 3 good seating areas, one being unique and worth the visit on its own....More

Lovely little friendly pub nice bar area and cosy room at back no music or pool table just friendly people and lovely hosts go and have a look round so much history you might even get spooked by residence ghost pleasant night for a drink...More

If you want to get away from loud music, tv's this is the place. Proper ale at cheap prices, homely feel, nice company and pleasant hostesses, what's not to like. I can't wait to go to Stockport again just for this pub

Went in with my partner over Christmas as we usually do. We love the open fires and friendly atmosphere. Staff always come out and chat with us which gives it a unique personal feel unlike many pubs in the area. This is a great place...More
