Visited plaza for afternoon tea today. We had choice of sandwiches and plumped for egg mayonnaise and cheese. Followed by scone and cream and selection of small cakes. Food was delicious, we had a cup of tea each. Service was very good. Would recommend a...More

The cafe is excellent & in keeping with the era of the Plaza. Volunteers keep the place going & work so hard to make visitors welcome. The shows are varied & of excellent quality. Live film / theatre streaming is a particular favourite.

A beautiful period piece of Art Deco. We had a guided tour given by enthusiastic volunteers, who are rightly proud of what they have achieved. The cafe offered soup and sandwiches or afternoon tea, served by friendly waiting staff.

Looking for lunch after a great visit to the Hat Museum close by, we came across The Plaza theatre/cinema and noticed signs for a café. What a delight on the upper floors when we entered this art deco masterpiece. A real step back in time...More

I've been to The Plaza several times in recent years, always to watch comedians. jimmy Carr, Jason Manford, and this time, Russell Brand. The theatre is traditional in style, but just as wonderfully attired. It's large, without losing the intimate audience feel. As such, Russell...More
