Love it here, great place to take children, dogs or even just for a walk yourself. Has a play area, different walking routes to take and has some amazing scenery

This is a must and you wouldn't expect such beauty to be in a city. If truly is beautiful. Parking is limited but brush past that. There are things for the kids. Play areas more than one. A cafe to get refreshments. We didn't attend...More

This is a great park for everyone from young to old however there are a few spoiling it for everyone by not picking up there dogs mess which is disgusting when kids are running about I even noticed dog poo in the kiddies play area...More

Oldham gets a lot of bad press at times, but it's parks are wonderful. The view from the monument at the top of the hill is spectacular, The walks are fairly easy and you can walk for miles within the park, good activities for kids...More

Lovely park, excellent facilities, we overlook the war monument from our house. Especially nice when visitors set off fireworks and we get a free showing.

The steep hill is a challenge for the unfit but the views are worth the walk, the walk up is also very nice but wear sturdy shoes.

Lovely walk through a beech woodland fantastic views from the monument. The play areas are excellent and at weekends the cafe is open ! Well worth a visit

Walked through the woods and upto the monument, it would be good if the monument was restored to its original glory using resin as opposed the metal that would eventually be stolen. Quote muddy and definitely boot weather, onwards to the cafe and the play...More
