Free entry with lots to see and plenty of interactive things for the kids to spend about an hour. The kids enjoyed pretending to be a bus driver and building bridges and linking cogs.

Pleasant visit, staff very nice and welcoming. Is quite small with a few vehicles, but after visiting the Steam trains was a nice way to end our day.

Worth an hour of anyone's time, eclectic collection of Bury's past transport. The volunteers are knowledgeable and helpful. There's even an old railway carriage for refreshments, although it only opens on events. If travelling on the ELR admission is part of your ticket price, otherwise...More

Called in when visiting the East Lancs for their 1940's event. Had never been before and it was a pleasant surprise. Lots to see. I particularly enjoyed the performance by the George Formby Appreciation Society. They were really good.

Well worth a visit. It is comprehensive with plenty of good exhibits and interesting for younger children too. And entrance is free! A good collection of buses and coaches.

There's a general carpark next to it and also one next to East Lancs Railway - both are pay and display - regularly patrolled by traffic wardens!
