Although the cost of £21 may seem steep to travel 16 miles, the experience which can easily last a whole day is well worthwhile. The staff/volunteers are enthusiasts and their enthusiasm is catching. There is much authentic gear and adverts to admire and a visit...More

Always a brilliant day out whether you like trains or not. Nice to get away from the modern world and enjoy a simpler journey through some spectacular scenery. Best cup of coffee you will ever get on a train from the buffet cart.
