Marlborough has a lovely typically British high street with lots of shops!! It has a great atmosphere and is the perfect place to explore and stop off on a journey!

Pleasant one day / night stop over enroute. Interesting shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Highly recommend The Bear for reasonably priced accommodation with hearty breakfast. It's a good ale pub and gin bar to boot !

We won’t go back and we only live in Hungerford. Just simply not worth the hassle. Pity as there are some good options for dining.

We climbed the church tower! They have regular tours with a very knowledgeable tour guide. Great views from the top! High-end shops on the High Street.

Reputedly the widest high street in the UK. A great little centre to storll around and shp op. If it's market day, so much the better, although it does restrict parking to a degree. Polly's Tea rooms nice, but a bit pricey.

Very impressed with the town. The High Street is long and wide with central parking, and a church at either end. There are many pubs, quality shops and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and stay in the Green Dragon Hotel on the High Street.

A wet morning stroll around the shops and would like to go back when it is warmer and sunny! Nice atmosphere but I think parking can be difficult.
