First the positives: the canal boat was well maintained, with comfortable seating and on-board loo and bar serving drinks and crisps. Dogs allowed only if nobody objects - a good policy in my opinion (we had one very well behaved, docile dog on our trip)....More

Four of us decided to have a little relaxing ride down the canal - opposite direction to the locks- 1 3/4 hours trip down the canal, didn't see much wildlife- wrong time of year maybe. Pleasant staff, good cafe/ bar. Very relaxing. . Would recommend

As we have other passengers to consider so if you arrive with a dog you are asked to wait till last to board, the skipper will then ask if any of the passengers object. If any one does you will not be able to board.
