We have been here a few times as we live locally. Lovely walk on a nice day. Windy sometimes but well worth the walk for the views.

Driving back up past Devizes, thought i'd stop off to see another White Horse in the Vale of Pewsey - though a very modern one from the millennium this time! Very disappointing - as its not been maintained / looked after and is really starting...More

Even though I am local I have never managed to get up to see the horse before, so armed with winter coats we decided today we would go and have a look at the newest of the horses in the area. I was so disappointed...More

Lovely large white horse but it is starting to fade. Really needs some maintenance before it disappears forever.

Did a good 9 mile hike which passed this. Hard to appreciate up close but took a detour on the way back to photograph where we'd been.

I walk from and around the White Horse most days. If you head to the west side of the Covet you will experience outstanding views that are as good as any in England.

Why bother making a white horse for a town and then leaving it turn to green slime. It might look ok from a distance but you really dont want to visit it and be disappointed.
