We went to Hardcastle Crags and stopped at Gibson Mill Cafe for tea and a Ham Sandwich after a 30 Minute walk, fantastic place tucked away in a wooded valley about 5 Minutes by car from Hebden Bridge.

My daughter, granddaughter and I visited recently. We love the crags and regularly walk our dogs there. As we live locally a stop off at the mill is not something we often do, however on this occasion we decided to treat ourselves to coffee and...More

There are some really moany reviews on here and I'm certainly not going to be adding to that brigade. It's a simple watering hole selling the usual refreshments and it's nothing fancy but it's nice and it's perfectly palatable. The staff are pleasant and helpful....More

We live extremely local to Gibson Mill and walk in the beautiful Hardcastle Crags on a daily basis. It’s such a shame that a good old cup of Yorkshire tea or English Breakfast (the National Trust- Gibson Mill call it House Tea) can’t be enjoyed...More

Well worth visiting after a good walk in Hardcastle Craggs. The mill has an interesting history and at the end of its life producing textiles was even used as an early entertainment venue. The waterworks/dam system that powered the mill are also very interesting. There...More

There is not a great deal to see inside the mill itself which often seems to be closed anyhow. The main point of the mill is the scenery and the walks you can do which dogs will love. There is a pub (working mens club) on... More
