Wine and a walk
Jun 2021
I sampled the sweet wines (not overly sweet) and my husband had the dry wines. We enjoyed them all! The grounds are beautiful! Our server told us about the 1/3 mile path through the woods and we enjoyed the walk. The signs along the way telling the story of the 3 bachelor brothers were a great touch!

Good Vibe, Great Wine
May 2021 • Couples
Lovely visit on Memorial Day weekend despite the rain and cold. We had called in advance because we knew there was going to be live music to see if we needed tickets. We were told about the plenty of seating and grass area for a blanket picnic (no tickets). After the weather didn’t hold up, they switched to reserved tables and updated their website accordingly, much appreciated. We were able to book a table but sad that we had to pick up after 50 minutes, no exception, to move the tables along for others. Understandable, but would have enjoyed a longer visit. We did take home some white, red, and port. Marc von Em (musician) was a talented guitarist, singer, and harmonica player. The owner also walked through and thanked and chatted with guests. Nice place. Good vibe. Very good wine. We would definitely go back if in the area.

Hello TouristaDeTejas, Thank you so much for not only taking the time to visit and support us, but for also leaving us a review! Unfortunately, due to the high volume of guests to accommodate on Memorial Day weekend (and with the rainy weather,) we wanted to make sure that all guests could enjoy some time with us. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed our wines, and hope that you can come to visit again when the weather is nice so that you can relax and experience the beautiful grounds that our winery has to offer. Make sure to check out our website for our full entertainment schedule. Cheers!

Amazing Scenery and Decent Wine
Oct 2020
This was a beautiful outdoor winery with a walking trail onsite. The wine tasting was very good. One huge complaint is that the entire time we were there the gardener was blowing the leaves and it really put a damper on our visit with the constant noise. We left a lot sooner than we had anticipated. The place was so nice that we will definitely give it another shot next time we are in the area.

Perfect afternoon of relaxing and wine
Sep 2020
This was our second visit here and it's changed a lot with COVID but it's still a great stop when in the area. Wine is excellent, they have a few new ones that I liked. The food was also great, if you like Cheddar - it was amazing. We just did some cheese and crackers and had an enjoyable meal with our wine. My daughter did a sampling which was a bit more pricey, they should think about giving a discount coupon with each tasting but the choices in the tasting were a good mix of four wines. The property is just beautiful and the outdoor seating they have added really works well with the property.

Amazing Winery
Oct 2019
We fell in love with Three Hammers the first time we went there. It is such a warm and welcoming location with great people and delicious wine. We live about 2.5 hours away but were planning a wedding at Woodloch which meant we were up in the area a lot. Every trip we made up to the area we made a point of stopping for a glass of wine and to restock with “a few” bottles of wine to hold us over till our next visit. The staff is always very friendly. The owners were always welcoming and very happy to show us around and share their story with us.
We ended up falling in love with the property so much that we spoke to Rob and Christine (the owners) about having our first look for our wedding on their property and I am so happy we did. We could not have asked for a better backdrop for our first look. After we finished with our moment, Rob came over to say hi and congratulate us. After so much build up to that moment, I was so happy we were in a relaxing atmosphere and were able to enjoy a nice glass of wine.

Every time I go to my house in Masthope stopping at Three Hammers is a must. I can't get enough of their wine. Even joined the wine club counting down the days to my next pick up.

Great place
Feb 2020 • Couples
This is a cool family owned place right next to Woodloch. They have some nice wines made with grapes from different areas, a little dryer and more sophisticated than other PA wines. Well worth the drive!

Wonderful Wines at this perfect, peaceful, piece of “Paradise in Pike County, PA.”
Dec 2019
You must stop in and enjoy a very reasonably priced wine tasting at this beautiful, bucolic homestead with a winery in a high-end renovated barn.
Wine Associates are very knowledgeable and the Owners — Christine & Rob — are delightful.
Ample space available for special events — anniversary celebrations, birthday parties, boys afternoon in, girls day out, retirement bon voyages — whatever!
You will be pleasantly surprised at this perfect, peaceful, piece of “Paradise in Pike County, PA.” — Who knew?

Ushered out after a pricey tasting
Dec 2019
The grounds and winery itself were lovely. The wine, while unexceptional, had a couple of really nice offerings, notably the viognier and syrah. The three-star rating comes in where our experience with the staff is concerned.

We were there on a holiday, when they had hours until 3:00. We arrived a little after 2pm for a tasting, and asked if we could enjoy a glass on their terrace with a fire pit afterward. We were told at 2:40 that because they were closing at 3:00, we could not, but they still encouraged us to buy a bottle. We also overheard the woman who gave us our tasting tell a couple who had just walked in that she could "maybe squeeze in a tasting because we close at 3:00."

I completely respect their business hours, but this is not how to make patrons and potential customers feel welcome, especially a full 20 minutes before closing. They seemed more interested in ushering everyone out than making a sale. Worked for us! We left without buying.

The tastings were $10 per person, which is more than I've payed in Napa Valley. Factoring in the staff's attitude, it really wasn't worth it.

Hello LadyTexan80, We are sorry to hear that you had a less than exceptional experience with us. The day you visited the winery, we implemented a shortened schedule to ensure that our employees would be able to spend New Year's Eve with their family and friends. We are very grateful that you chose our winery for your holiday festivities, but hope you can understand why we would shorten our schedule. We would love to have you back to give us a second chance and to enjoy the winery at its fullest. Cheers!
