Great movie theater with interesting films, small theater rooms with comfy chairs, affordable food and snacks and very cool vibe . Staff friendly and helpful . Gave us local suggestions of places to go which added to our trip to Portland . Wish we had one close to us at home. The way a theater should be !

Independent cinema, foreign films, coupled with overstuffed lounger seating, meal and adult beverage service at your seat equals a perfect rainy afternoon.

We had a very enjoyable evening! My girlfriend is very particular about her dirty martinis and the bartender made an excellent one. The service was great. We didn't order food. The popcorn is served in a ceramic bowl - very nice! Want to go back and try the food with the movie.

Not comfortable seats. Food wasn't good. Potato wedges have spices on them. Menu didn't say that. Seats had airline style trays.

Came to Portland for a girl's trip intent on meeting up to see movie.
We arrived well before our show and had an excellent dinner, then ordered drinks, popcorn and candy for the show.
Everything was delicious and it was awesome to experience everything in one spot.

My husband and I came here to enjoy a movie while in Portland. I was a little excited because the Living Room Theater to me had sounded like an Alamo Theater (that started in Austin). That being comfy chairs where you can order food and drinks. I later found out I was wrong.
The chairs were not comfortable nor do they recline. I wish I could have kicked up my feet like I was in my own house. I mean isn't that why it is called "living room" theater?? I like the drink options. If you want more to drink, you need to leave the movie to get one during the film. Boo! The food can be ordered before the movie and taken to your seat to enjoy. My husband and I ordered the sweet potato wedges but it was missing something to make them super tasty.

We had heard about this place and had been walking all day thought lets take it easy one night, kind of fun just like sitting at home but watching a new release movie full bar and if you order food they bring it right to you while you are watching movie big chairs, tables it was a fun idea.

Sort of a funny review, as we have never actually been to a movie at this theater but we always stop in for a cocktail and good conversation w the staff on out way to explore Powells and the Pearl. Great wine and beer list and the staff is always a treat to chat with at the bar. One of these days we will actually make it to a movie as they always have something we want to see. We had a lovely chat w the manager about movies and entertainment this stop and he was a delight.

We planned a day downtown shopping and catching a movie before a late dinner reservation. I thought the concept sounded cool and nothing like any movie theater we have in Montana so I was excited to go. The prices of items were not bad but I thought there would be simpler food items to purchase, but all the items were a bit more extravagant than I wanted for a mid day snack. The popcorn was really good though. The theater was not as cozy or comfortable as I was expecting, but certainly more isle and leg room than the average theater. Not sure I would do it again but it was a different experience for sure.

Walking with my kids on this street this place got our attention. We decided to give it a try and reserved a movie for 4 hours later on. We went on to see other things and by the time we came back, we were ready to eat and watch the movie. It felt like we were at someone's living room with a big screen. Overall a great place to watch a movie and have excellent food.

How’s the AC? Does it get too cold like in most theaters?

I did not feel cold. I don’t remember AC was an issue at all.
Does the theater have assigned seating?

Yes, you pick your seats when you buy your tickets.
