We visited the Benton County Historical Society and Museum specifically because the current exhibit, Up, Up, and Away, featured photographs and memorabilia from my great uncle, who trained fighter pilots for the Army during World War I. I thought the exhibit was very well done....More

I visited with a historian about my historic house. She was able to pull up photos from 1865 and we both got really excited reading about the original landowners and the town. This place is a treasure trove of information.

The day I visited there were two exhibits: one on aviation, apparently a permanent installation, and a special exhibit on Presidential quilts, there for a limited time. Both were well done, with more than adequate informational tags. Many of the objects displayed had local connections....More
