Stopped here while staying in Cascade Meadows RV Park. It's just up the road a few miles. Primarily wanted to get the dogs out for a nice walk. (Dogs must be on leash.) The Big Tree Ponderosa Pine was the tallest of its species in...More

We come here every year for Girl Scout camping. Whether we see other girls bridge or bridging ourselves we enjoy our stay. They only draw back is the sites are close together and we have to travel to get to a hiking spot.

La Pine State Park, just a little south of Bend and Sunriver, is a huge park that is incredibly beautiful. Stayed in South Loop, Cabin 5. Inside had two heaters that made it toasty!, two electricity outlets (that I saw, maybe more?), a table, four...More

La Pine State Park isa pretty park along the Deschutes River. It has some day use and picnic sights, plus River trails and an enormous Ponderosa Pine tree. Camping is relatively expensive at $26 for a tent site. Facilities are okay, but not as well...More

Beautiful place but the parking lot on the falls side is hard to find. The south lot by the tree is easier but father from the falls. The falls are not really big falls at all but a nice spot.

The park is located in a very wooded setting. Sites vary in size but a few can accommodate larger RVs. I was surprised at the closeness of the RV sites given that this is a state park. Cell service was good but there was no...More

We were staying with some friends in La Pine and they brought us to this park. I love how natural it is, a true forest park. The view of the Deschuttes River was stunning! Excellent trails for hiking or simply strolling. The fragrance of the...More

I live a half mile from the park and use it's trails for running often. They really do need to keep up on the down trees after winter and better trail markings.

There wasn't any wifi that I know about. Your phone should still work though. I didn't have any trouble getting online with mine.

Depends on your carrier--Verizon has coverage, not sure of others.
