The dirt road is long, rutted, and dirt but leads to the most peaceful forest of redwoods. We saw no other cars on the road and thought we were lost. There aren't many signs and it feels like a mistaken route. However, you end up...More

Get ready to be amazed. You will see all kinds of wildlife and trails from wildlife. There are bears and elk and all kinds of critters. Stay in a group with someone experienced. These trails out here are LEGIT. Bring your binoculars.

Four miles of pot holes and ruts. Not worth it. Road has spots to let a car pass but it is very tight. Saw alot of birch trees. You must then hike to see redwoods.

What is going on when they string traffic lights across the redwood highway!? It was construction. Looks like they're widening the road. Maybe trying to straighten it a bit too. But it was the oddest thing to be driving through the redwood forest and come...More

I revisited the Oregon Redwood Trail last week and felt it needed an update. In the last review in 2015, I said the road was in pretty good shape, and passenger cars would make the 8 mile trip with no problems. But after a year...More

Hiking at it finest. You can hike the entire coast.of Oregon, from California to Washington, on this trail. The views and scenery are amazing but come prepared. You will probably not see another human all day. The trails can be hard to determine at times...More
