First part of Hike was easy and well marked, but as you head up into the boulders, it becomes a one track game trail. Easy to lose your way in the boulders on the north side and in the burned out cedars. South side entrance...More

I briefly lived in the area and spent many weekends scrambling over rocks. The lake is a little unpredictable (depending on rainfall), but the rocks are always ready to go. There's also a really neat little museum/learning center on the main road through the park.

The State of Oklahoma has done a great job putting this place together. The facilities are superior and the proximity to the lake makes this a great place to visit in Southwest Oklahoma. Bring Bicycles, this is a great place to use them. Plenty of...More

Quartz Mountain Resort was Ok. Had to walk too far to room. Only restaurant within 9 miles was at the resort and it was somewhat overpriced! It also did not serve lunch,.
