This lovely old home is open for a guided tour at 2pm on most days.....you need to check first though. It was a wonderful tour and the house was easy to find with excellent road signage. Plenty of parking.

This is the home of Joe Lyons, Tasmania’s only Australian Prime Minister. The home has been left, as it was, after the death of his wife. The house is run by volunteers & is heritage listed.

A lovely property with all original pieces of property belonging to the Lyons. The guide was very knowledgeable and provided us with very interesting Tasmanian and Australian history. Well worth a visit.

Fantastic place to tour for an appreciation of some early history and what life was like. The volunteers are very helpful in answering questions.

I have been here multiple times and its an honour to walk in the former home of Tasmania's only Prime minister. The last time i was here was on a night photography workshop and the staff were friendly and gave us a tour.
