A lovely place to walk and take the dog for a walk any time of the year. Some areas really secluded. Children's section at the top not really inspiring and the car park is grim. Once over the grassy area and into the wood is...More

Attractive park giving wood and open walks. In spring the blue bells are stunning. We often walk there with the dogs, although dogs must be kept on leads in some parts, we find this makes a pleasant walk as dogs are under control and we...More

Great outdoor space to walk with dogs and the kids, there are short loops around the grass areas or bigger walks through the woods

I love these woods espically during bluebell season, I didn't use the official car park, but used one of the many side roads. A few steps and your deep into the woods, Im a professional artist and love painting treescapes.

A lot of things to do and the expansion of the site is amazing. Could do with a bit of work since a lot of parts are completely overgrown

Great views and a lovely wood to walk through and explore. Parking fee is reasonable and has toilets and a small kiosk for refreshments. Also a coveted area for eating. I'll certainly be back.

We wouldn't recommend it! As its a dog walkers paradise, there could be those who don't pick up after their pets, and also potential for broken glass etc.,

The site is a woodland and can be quite steep in places, paths are not tarmaced. Would depend really on age and ability of child, and level of competence. If you want something a little more level and surfaced, then either... More
