Pleasant tree lined area, ideal for strolling with dogs or sitting by the river on a Summer's day. Beautiful row of old plane trees for shade and a few benches for seating. Cafe and pub for refreshments, band playing on Summer Sundays.

A lovely place to wander, feed the ducks and enjoy the summer weather. The gardens border the Thames and are easily accessed from the town.

Went to listen to music today with the Band of the Yeomanry. What a lovely way to spend two hours on a Sunday afternoon just relaxing and enjoying a nice variety of numbers.

The gardens run alongside the river Thames and are very delightful place in which to stroll, picnic or just sit and dream. You could be energetic and follow the river up to Richmond or alternatively just amble to the Pub/restaurant for refreshment
