We attended a Rohl Dahl performance (George's Marvelous Medicine) a month ago and also enrolled our child on one of Rose's Theatre's drama/performing schools this holiday. Well run, plenty of information and knick knacks around the corridors, and the theatre facilities are good.

Wasn’t expecting much but it was an absolutely brilliant evening. The Rose is a brilliant theatre. It’s intimate but feels spacious. The leg room is excellent and the seats are comfy. We probably go at least every other month. Our next visit is Hogarths Progress...More

A night out with a treat from a family member! Very enjoyable evening watching a production of Shakespeare! I think the Rose Theatre should do more advertising with a lot more exposure, as it is well deserved of regular sell outs!

Went last night to see production of Twentieth Century Boy what a disappointment. The show started an hour late citing 'technical problems' eventually went ahead without any video backing. Audience had to sit listening to soundtracks in long periods of darkness completely ruined what could...More

A cosy and intimate venue, which punches above its weight in terms of the plays and stars that it attracts. Nice acoustics, good bar, easy parking across the road in a multi-storey. Be careful when buying a seat that it is actually a ‘seat’ –...More

We were pleased to visit the Rose Theatre for a production just a few days after it celebrated its 10th anniversary. It is a well-designed space for theatre and other arts productions and we very much enjoyed our visit. The production of "Much Ado About...More

Yes. There is a lift for wheelchairs and very helpful staff to assist with correct route to cafe. (The lift is set back, so easier to ask those who know)
