Really beautiful woodland! Great play area and cafe, and kids loved the highway rat trail. A lovely few hours. Look forward to the kids getting a tad older so we can try go ape and the cycle paths!

I've been visiting Alice Holt since I was a baby and have always loved it! It's got some amazing play areas for the children, and well marked paths through the forest to allow pushchairs and wheelchairs. It's a great, cheap day out that everyone always...More

Great cafe - spacious and really nice to eat in or out. With a good selection of hot, cold, sandwiches, drinks, coffee is pretty good - a nice destination, whether you spend much time in the forest, or just to drop in.

This is a good place to go with the children as there are various things for them to climb that have been built through the forest. However, it does get busy and the car park prices are rather high.

We came here to meet friends for a walk in the woods. It really is like a woodland theme park for those who can’t deal with the natural world unless it is interpreted for them. Paths are very busy and at one point on the...More

The Forestry Commission take great care of this place and it is easily accessible for push chairs, because the tracks are well established. But there is also a lot of other features dotted about to keep older children engaged too. There are plenty of adventure...More

Great place to dog walk and allow the grandchildren to run free. . Great playground for our adventurous grandson. Lots to do. Pick coffee and cake or a light lunch. Take a picnic. Spent the whole day.
