Lovely gardens, small wood and cafe with court yard. Visited with a friend, we loved the walk around this place. Suitable for all apart from the woods as it is on a steep incline so not for people with walking disabilities. The gardens are very...More

The grounds are beautiful, ranging from woods to run around in if you have the energy, a couple of trees that you can climb and a stretch of lawn that you can relax or sunbathe on. Been coming here for years both alone and with...More

Although the woods are a little more busier than usual because of the school holidays, you can always find a quiet spot to stop and just be at peace with nature. I do recommend wearing sensible shoes if climbing the stairs as they can be...More

Lovely clean place to go for a Sunday walk with the dogs and children. Dogs must be kept on leads. Flowers are very pretty, home the pond look like they need a bit of TLC.

The entrance leads into planted flower beds and gardens by the pond. Lovely little trail following the stream and little rocky areas. This leads into more gardens and beyond that is the wood. Really nice large mature trees and so peaceful once you get away...More

The best time to visit is the summer months to see the excellent summer bedding in the landscapped beds. Also a hit with the children is the fish pond and walk into the tree area - excellent for hide and seek.

Yes, this used to be the garden of the large house now The Chateau Restaurant. Its still a lovely, tranquil garden with a small but pleasant cafe in what was once the stables.

Located 5 minutes walk up from Lloyd park Tram stop you cross the road to find acres of beautiful gardens. Well kept , there is also a great coffee shop with outdoor walled garden seating. Highly recommended for peaceful stroll around.
