Enjoyed a stroll through the colourful gardens. They are not friendly for those with mobility or age issues so we were very limited in where we could go. Parking impossible at 1.30ish so unfortunately had to walk further so an exhausted partner. Sadly the Coach...More

The entrance leads into planted flower beds and gardens by the pond. Lovely little trail following the stream and little rocky areas. This leads into more gardens and beyond that is the wood. Really nice large mature trees and so peaceful once you get away...More

The best time to visit is the summer months to see the excellent summer bedding in the landscapped beds. Also a hit with the children is the fish pond and walk into the tree area - excellent for hide and seek.

Yes, this used to be the garden of the large house now The Chateau Restaurant. Its still a lovely, tranquil garden with a small but pleasant cafe in what was once the stables.

Located 5 minutes walk up from Lloyd park Tram stop you cross the road to find acres of beautiful gardens. Well kept , there is also a great coffee shop with outdoor walled garden seating. Highly recommended for peaceful stroll around.

Since getting a dog some six months ago we have been (re)discovering places to walk. Some have disappointed, but Coombe Wood this morning did not. The formal gardens are beautiful, ablaze with the colour of tulips at the moment, while the woods include some fine...More

This whole area is wonderful to wander around. The main gardens surrounding the cafe and restaurant are glorious in the summer. If you catch the rhododendrons then you are in for a treat - as there are hundreds! Perfect for all ages to enjoy. Whenever...More

I love going here when the weather gets warmer. There is a lovely secluded courtyard to sit and chat, and a great coffee shop which serves a variety of food and drinks. The gardens are well maintained and peaceful although a word of warning, they...More
