I really like the cafe, in every season; it’s great to sit outside in the summer and cosy inside in colder weather. The food is good and you can linger for ages over a coffee. The park is pretty and is popular with families.

The garden and woods are not enormous - this is not a country estate but it's easily enough for a 20 min stroll round the garden or a 30 min walk round the woods. The cafe has a lovely still walled garden out the back....More

Last Saturday 1st September I met with a friend for breakfast and this was the third time in a row that I received less than adequate service. The previous times I had put things down to them having an off day but now dreadful food...More

Lovely gardens, small wood and cafe with court yard. Visited with a friend, we loved the walk around this place. Suitable for all apart from the woods as it is on a steep incline so not for people with walking disabilities. The gardens are very...More

The grounds are beautiful, ranging from woods to run around in if you have the energy, a couple of trees that you can climb and a stretch of lawn that you can relax or sunbathe on. Been coming here for years both alone and with...More

Although the woods are a little more busier than usual because of the school holidays, you can always find a quiet spot to stop and just be at peace with nature. I do recommend wearing sensible shoes if climbing the stairs as they can be...More

This garden has to be seen around June July to seen it at its best, when the Rhododedendrons are flowering! They are a stunning assortment of colours and sizes, lining the footpaths that snake around the gardens. This garden is mostly hilly, and is not for those who have...More

Lovely clean place to go for a Sunday walk with the dogs and children. Dogs must be kept on leads. Flowers are very pretty, home the pond look like they need a bit of TLC.

Enjoyed a stroll through the colourful gardens. They are not friendly for those with mobility or age issues so we were very limited in where we could go. Parking impossible at 1.30ish so unfortunately had to walk further so an exhausted partner. Sadly the Coach...More

The entrance leads into planted flower beds and gardens by the pond. Lovely little trail following the stream and little rocky areas. This leads into more gardens and beyond that is the wood. Really nice large mature trees and so peaceful once you get away...More

Some of the trails in the woods are a bit rough, but probably doable. Wouldn't fancy the hill though!
