Walking some distance to revisit a Church with personal associations, it was saddening to find the place locked mid-morning in the very week following Easter. This is understandable in more rural areas and with the sad risks that open Chruches are faced with. BUT....a Minster...More

Went to support the local orchestra. It is after 7pm, quiet, away from the town centre. no parking signs on other side of road. We left car on clear road with no lines, and we got a parking ticket fine. There is no sign on...More

It is strange to find, slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the town, the church and graveyard of Croydon Minster, a designation the Church of St John the Baptist was given in 2011. There are strong links to Canterbury, with the summer residence...More

It's a very busy place . I didn't particularly find the locals nice or anywhere really nice for dinner . Also very 'studenty' for me personally

Beautiful old church in the centre of Croydon but once inside the peace and serenity is quite amazing. The architecture is beautiful and transports you back in time.

We recently visited Croydon Minster, a beautiful church within the old town of Croydon. The interior is lovely and the church members were very nice - welcoming and informative. The church boasts an exceptional male choir.

An absolutely beautiful church with stunning architecture and a calming ambience. The church has an excellent choir and a wonderful minister. The church is very close to the town centre, but try and access by foot as the parking is a bit of a nightmare....More

A wonderful church that we have been visiting for year now. It has amazing features and has little information notices for those that would like to look around after a ceremony. Very friendly staff and church members.

From the outside, just another church, but inside the decoration will blow you away. Lovely atmosphere and ornate painting and windows that are a feast for the eyes. Particularly lovely when shown off to candlelight.
