A wonderful place to explore and have fun as a family. We walked, went bouldering, looked out for the wide variety of wildlife, including a perigrine falcon! Parking can sometimes be tricky. A great place to get dirty, be away from technology and see spectacular...More

Had a top boulder on the upper roaches with my bud and chilled out watching the lead climbers there. Enjoy a nice walk here but watch out for the cliff edge

We are occasional walkers, only liking to do under 5 mile walks. There are plenty of walks to go at starting at 1.25 miles. An easy one is starting from Roaches Gate .. the car parking layby further up the road from the Roaches Tearoom....More

Numerous Parking places . Plans your walk. Ludds church is worth a visit. It’s a canyon not a church. Take plenty of water on a hot day. Good walking gear some hard walking in places. Great views over all the moorlands especially from the trig...More

Great place for views and although quite a steep climb to get up to the ridge top it's not a long walk so quite accessible by foot. Stunning views when you get up though.

We started by clambering up Hen’s Cloud and then walked across to the Roaches and on to Luds Church. Amazing views and a beautiful if arduous walk.

Hi it is rumoured that people used to live in Luds Church which is seperate from the Roaches but 100% worth the visit, It is essentially a chasm in the ground that appears out of no where.
