I must have been past Brent Knoll countless times over the years, both on the A38 and latterly the M5, but had never taken the time to make the climb from the village, near the parish church. I was so glad I did, 360 degree...More

Magnificent views of Somerset levels from the summit. However difficulties in parking anywhere near the church on our visit. Steps near the top need some attention and others were uneven. A description of the attraction at the site would be useful.

Good footpath that is always fairly dry under foot. Fantastic views from the top. It needs a clear day to get the full benefit. On a clear day you can see Wales.

Whilst staying at Woodlands Country House we decided to walk up Brent Knoll. It's a long uphill walk but lots of places to stop and definitely worth the effort. The views at the top were great- you can see for miles!

We set out with 2 children to scale the only hill for miles around (other than Brean Down). It was a pretty steep climb for the kids but they made it thanks to the steps cut into the hillside at all the steep bits. The...More

If you travel along the main road through Brent Knoll, between the pub and the the church is a road then a lane and then it turns into a path that goes up to the hill... its easy to find and the walk is about an hour......
