Parts of this beautiful English Church date from 1150 which as all readers of "1066 and all That" will tell you was the Norman period. The characteristic rounded 'Romanesque' arches and huge pillars can be seen. But many of the nave arches were replaced in...More

Holy Trinity Church is a valuable asset to Much Wenlock. The town may on occasions be very busy but the church retains its still, calm atmosphere. You can feel the history. There is a definite community awareness about the church and its people.

Looks good from the outside - surrounded by lovely trees and grassy spaces. Even more impressive inside - lovely stained glass windows, quite a sizeable church too and obviously well looked after. Worth popping in.

The church is set in the town centre near the Guildhall, and has pleasant gardens to the rear of the church. It is an attractive building, and has a peaceful atmosphere inside. It appears to be open most daylight hours, and is welcoming to visitors.

A lovely little small town church with some wonderful stain glass windows. Looks like it is well used and loved by the congregation.
