The church is set in attractive grounds next to the Guildhall. The church is surprisingly light, because most of the windows are clear. However, there are several impressive stained glass windows on the south wall.

Lovely church which houses the tomb of Dr W P Brookes, founder of the Much Wenlock Olympian Games who invited Baron Coubertin (founder of the modern Olympic Games) to the town. Lovely stained glass windows and some old graffiti (1693 the oldest I spotted)

What a beautiful, peaceful and welcoming Church this is. We visited at the end of a cold November day but it was pleasing to see the doors still open to visitors. The grounds are also very picturesque and lovely to walkaround.

Beautiful, tranquil historic Church and grounds. My wife and I enjoyed a peaceful time in quiet contemplation. Well worth a visit whether you are a religious person or not.
