The Long Mynd is just brilliant, so open you can walk for miles without seeing anyone, if you use the less trodden paths. However if you want to meet people and have a chat then the promoted routes are for you. At the base of...More

My spouse and I drove up and over the Shropshire Hills from west to east on one-track roads among the heather and sheep. It was a fascinating, beautiful drive and one we would not have missed.

I'm a bit spoilt because I come from a Yorkshire and our rugged hills take some beating but the Shropshire hills are pretty and worth exploring.

My 92 year old mother and I can here on holiday and really enjoyed our week so much to see and do. Some times the views and journey to attractions was almost as enjoyable as the many and varied places we visited

Fantastic spot to go walking. Clearly very popular. Lots of walks, varying in length and difficulty. Cafe, facilities, parking - all there. Well maintained routes but the 'difficult' ones require a degree of scrambling. Well worth a full day to explore.

Hills hills hills. A great place to go for a really good walk. Beautiful views. Spotted sheep and horses on the walk. Went on a cold rainy day and it was rather windy at the top but enjoyed it.
