We stopped here on our way south from Cragside. We were recommended by the gentleman in the information building to go to the Wildlife hide and we might well see some red squirrels. We looked around the house - lovely - then took a walk...More

House was a good view (although in part darkness due to power cut) Main hall on ground floor worth the visit alone However, walk to walled garden was brilliant with a great landscape

Passing by and decided to call in, glad we did. Friendly and informative staff on hand as you progress around this unusual house with its eclectic mix of contents. An interesting and refreshing change to many similar houses.

We visited Wallington as part of our National Trust 'to do' list. We travelled from co. Durham but it was worth the drive. The grounds are extremely well kept with plenty of walks to chose from to suit any fitness type-we had 3 young children...More

Admittedly, I came here to see the gardens. As a butterfly and pollinator gardener, I aim to visit gardens designed for pollinator conservation. These gardens exceeded my expectations. I am awestruck by them. The garden beds are designed to look natural and meadow-like, although the...More

The wallington estate is lovely and really well kept. 100% worth a visit but do your self a favour and don’t bank on the clocktower cafe, bring your own food and drinks with you. The food is very underwhelming with no sel by dates on...More

We decided to go to Wallington to see the gardens. On arrival we had coffee, then walked around the pond and woodland near the house. There were lots of damsel flies. Next we had lunch, which was disappointing. Sausage roll came as just that, so...More

Sorry I'm not sure. You would have to contact them direct. When we go we like to take our own lunch and sit outside. We just buy the coffee in the cafe. Hope this helps.

Yes. You need to take the M1 from the bus station and it is going to cost you £5 to get there approximately. According to google. We alwayz go by car with the family.
