The Free Trade is a lovely, traditional pub with lots of old wood panelling and screens. The landlady was absolutely charming and she made us feel most welcome. The beer was top class and there was a really nice atmosphere.

My husband,brother in law and myself popped in for refreshment and where refused a drink,so dissappointed if brenda was there she would have given us a drink been going to berwick for 22 years for holidays and have never been so embarassesed

You just have to visit the Free Trade is just fantastic as it's never changed inside, it's a proper pub with great atmosphere and fantastic banter. There is a good choice of drinks and it's cheap as well 🍺🍷🥃
