Most people who see Cocklawburn Beach are thundering through on the East Coast Mainline, which hugs the coast here before running through Spittal & Tweedmouth. But in fact this beach is only about 2mls from the Scremerston Roundabout on the A1. It offers a mix...More

Great little hidden beach not to busy and a good walk with the dog, in the dunes and on the sand. Plenty of parking along the road with no charge

We often take the dogs here for a walk and often have miles of sandy beach to ourselves. Even in mid summer there are not usually more than a dozen or two other people there. Our most recent visit was in October.

The Drive down the narrow road to the beach is worth it . We had a lovely walk along the nice soft sand ,no cafe or such here but the views and location make up for that

Nice pretty coastline and beach. Worth a visit. Very dog friendly many dogs running and playing off leads. Nightmare for my child who is upset by jumping sniffing dogs around while paddling. If you are a dog lover get yourself there and enjoy it well...More
