Our second visit to Chillingham Castle and it didn't disappoint. The enthusiasm of the guides are matched by the obvious enthusiasm of the castle's owner whose copious guide is well worth buying. The exhibits are eclectic and really offer an insight into the owner's ancestry...More

It doesn't matter what time of the year we visit, Chillingham is always just a little bit of an unsettling place to visit! Very friendly staff and tasty cake.

Chillingham certain does give you the chills, there is an atmosphere here like nothing we have ever felt anywhere else, it was something all four of us felt and couldn't explain. It has an interesting history ans some nice walks. Well worth a visit.
