To be honest, I think you need to be into your real ale to appreciate this place. It's a tiny pub with a bit of a toilet smell about it and some decent ales on offer. The woman working the bar was really pleasant but...More

This is that rare thing these days, a pub without pretensions to be anything else. It’s quite small but comfortable and friendly and the sort of place where you wouldn’t be uncomfortable on your own.

I loved this pub. It is unique and the staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful. It does seem to be a real locals' pub but they certainly didn't seem to mind a small visitor invasion. Great selection of drinks and interesting decor.
