A fascinating experience and a real sense of history, it can be quite eerie but always very interesting.

It's a bit smelly down in the crypt. You will never see another place like this so well worth a visit. The church that houses this crypt is absolutely beautiful.

My daughter and I visited on a cold Sunday afternoon. Friendly guide and an interesting tour of the crypt. My son wants to visit it now so we may be back next month

One of only two discovered ossuarries in England. It's got to be visited. Not open every day so check times. Rothwell Church is also a stunning example.

Down into the crypt below a beautiful church with a knowledgeable guide. The church wardens were really nice people to talk to. You won't spend more than an hour here but it is really worth stopping by to have a look.
