walking down the hill from Ravens Hall to the beach we were greated with around 100 grey seals resting on the shore. A truly amzing site. From there we walked all the way to Robin Hoods Bay, which was truly stunning!

A lovely long beach for a walk. Enjoyed looking in all the rock pools at the trapped marine life. The highlight of the day was searching for fossils. We found quite a few varieties. Ammonites, belemnites and crinoids.

The walk down is certainly a challenge but walking back up avoiding the road and venturing up the numerous steps and alleyways gives a true insight into these lovely little fishing villages.

Beautiful beach with a gorgeous town not far from the sea front. Only issue was getting down to the beach, with many steep hill to walk up and down and many stairs, not ideal for disabled visitors

Great to visit late in season. Fabulous sunny day. Tide out so able to walk along beach. Saw seals in the sea Would be horrendous here in high season I imagine

A nice little hidden gem of the north. Visited with a group of friends and had a nice little walk on the rocks and the weather was great for it too which made for a beautiful view!

Hi there I think it would be possible to get a minibus down to the beach to drop people off. The icecream van parks on the beach so I'm sure you wouldn't have a problem getting down. The road I quite narrow and turning... More
