If, like me, you were running the Cleethorpes half marathon, then the best part of the Meridian Line is that it is near the finish, and a welcome finish line it was.

We walk along the beach path regularly and the meridian always generates conversation . Visitors take advantage of the benches nearby to sit and enjoy sandwiches whilst they take in the sea view.

Either you get it or you don't. This is just for fun, standing in two hemispheres at the same time just to say you did it.

We found this by accident as we we were walking with our dog from Haven Site to Cleethorpes, few people taking an interest.

Stumbled across this by accident. There is not that much to see, just a couple of markers, but I found it interesting.
