We found this by accident as we we were walking with our dog from Haven Site to Cleethorpes, few people taking an interest.

Went for a stroll to day and thought we would take a stroll up to the haven site and then come back into cleethorpes by walking on the sea front passing the meridian line.a bit cold but worth it

I think it's brass. I'm guessing it's in the correct place. Easy to get to. There's also a solid globe.

I know it's only a piece of metal stuck in the ground, but it's a significant piece of metal. A very historical important piece of history.
