Great mix of crafts and artists at a friendly market at a wonderful historic Manor House building. Alford nestles on the costal plain on the edge of the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds just inland from the miles of sandy beaches on the east coast.

A lovely traditional craft market in the lovely town of Alford, some really original ideas, great for that unusual gift.

We visited Alford Market on a Tuesday lunchtime, there appeared to be an auction of junk going on, a shoe stall, a craft stall, sweet stall and pet stall that didn't have any prices on anything so we decided not to make a purchase. Nothing...More

Hi Paul Oh dear! I am afraid you have muddled us up with the general Tuesday market in the Market place run by the Town Council. The general market is nothing to do with us. Alford Craft Market has a very nice shop selling quality...More

I have visited this craft market several times in the last few years (latest summer 2015). There are enough stalls to make this a worthwhile visit but frankly I personally rarely find anything captivating enough to wish to buy it. Nothing much changes each time...More

Been to this craft market quite a few times and it never disappoints. Lovely hand crafted goods always something different. There things for the children to join in also Morris dancers and a lot more. Well worth a visit

Firstly, I will say that I have local relatives so I may be considered slightly biased. We have visited this event most times it runs over the past few years, so the stalls are becoming a little too familiar. However, there are a number of...More

Did not have that 'I'll come again feel'. Really have seen it all before with a very quiet atmosphere. You feel sorry for those who made the effort both to do and to turn up. It needs some excitement and possible a re-think.More

We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your visit to Alford Craft Market over the August Bank Holiday weekend. It is surprising that you found it quiet as we had more craft stalls this year than in the last 10 years, 3...More

This is a great event to visit when in the area over the May bank holiday. There are loads of great local stalls offering a wide diversity of arts and crafts, together with artisan foods. Our 4 year old even enjoyed it. Will certainly return...More
