Situated in the heart of Melton Mowbray, Ye Olde Pork Pie Shoppe has been baking Melton Mowbray Pork Pies in the same shop for over 160 years. In addition to our famous Pork Pies, Stilton Cheese, Melton Hunt Cake, Melton Red Beer, freshly baked bread and a range of other delicacies are all on offer. Demonstrations of 'hand raising' a pork pie are available for individuals or groups of up to 15 at a time (and samples too!). Pre booking is required please and the cost is £1 per person.

A Little way down the paved High Street a pretty looking shop. This is a quality butchers and a pie shop and more besides. Pies, pastries cream cakes, cheeses. They sell their own hand made/home made pork pies and also their own factory produced porkpies....More

We made a special trip for a pie demo and to taste the pies. We weren’t disappointed. Sean, the Assistant Manager, gave us a professional and humorous demo of making the pies. Full of facts and hand-raising the pie with skill, we enjoyed our visit....More

This place is great and very olde world. If you're a pork pie then this is for you. Some great local jams/preserves etc sold there as well. Friendly staff and great got and cold cobs make this a place for locals as well as visitors....More

Yes, but not a huge selection. Quite a few of the sausages are gluten free
