Thank you for your kind words. Perhaps I should mention that we have been fortunate in being able to maintain the price of £1 for many years. Unfortunately we have recently now had to move the price to £2

i visited this shop on Saturday 1st September. Brought a brick type pork pie and stilton topped pie .shop was very interesting and clean with polite well informed staff .definitely worth a visit if you like good food and old fashioned personal service.

...and I know my pork pies! Make sure you get one in the white packaging that denotes made in the store rather than the facility nearby. I assure you it is the best Pork Pie you will find anywhere.

These pork pies are the best, its against the law to go to melton and not go in here, the pork pies are a bit more pricey £2:60 for 6 small 1s total weight 300g but they are so worth it

A regular visitor to Melton mowbray as living in Leicester currently.pork pies are my favourite.prices are a little bit more than super market prices but make a very nice treat.staff are friendly and polite and the shop is very clean

Thank you for your comments. For 26 years we have always weighed our large and extra large pork pies ... this gives a final check that the pies do contain the bone stock jelly and it hasn't leaked out during the jellying and cooling process....More

Fantastic locally produced food, helpful staff and reasonably priced shop. I'd definitely recommend visiting here if you are in Melton Mowbray.

The shop has a selection of 1lb and 2lb pork pies, either hand raised made in the shop or factory made. Also they sell Hunt Cake, this is lovely, they also do a hamper service delivered anywhere throughout the UK. The staff are very friendly...More

Yes, but not a huge selection. Quite a few of the sausages are gluten free
