A lovely relaxing day spent walking and shopping in beautiful surroundings. There's a good garden centre there and across the little road is a fabulous little courtyard of shops selling unique and handcrafted goods. The walks are leisurely and a picnic added to the pleasure.

How is a car parking charge of £2 justified when there is ample parking for the garden centre and the church is National Trust this should be free for NT members.

We visited the estate recently and there was lots for everyone to do, suitable for young children too. Tea rooms, watching the ducks on the lake, visiting the church onsite - all provided very interesting distractions for a lovely weather day. The church onsite has...More

Amazing place. This is not for those who desire 100mph excitement but it's a joy to visit such a well run place.
