Local pub, ideally located close to Darwen Tower and Sunnyhurst Woods. As Darwen's first Cask Marque recognised pub,we have a good choice of real ales from both the local Thwaites Brewery and other guest brewers, along with a good selection of wines, ciders and spirits. We serve food at weekends and are dog and family friendly, so why not call in a sample one of the finest pubs in Lancashire.

A family friendly pub set in a walkers/ramblers paradise - wood/forest on one side, reservoir on another and moors with the tower in the other direction. You can walk for miles and miles without seeing groups of people. The scenery changes with each season and...More

Brilliant little pub, always warm and welcoming to the many walkers, runners and cyclist who trudge in with their muddy kit and dogs. Great atmosphere when the Wednesday quiz is on and lovely and homely if you want a quiet pint on a Sunday night!

Nice country style pub, just a few minutes from town and on the edge of the beautiful countryside. Prices are reasonable, toilets immaculate, and staff always obliging. Certainly worth calling in especially after a thirsty trip up to Darwen Tower.
