This is what a good basic no nonsense pub should be. Clean, warm, friendly with an excellent selection of cask beers, lagers and ciders to choose from together with good no nonsense tasty homemade food and good company whether you're a regular or visitor makes...More

We used to regularly visit this pub, unfortunately it's under new management and dogs are no longer allowed. This is a real shame but there are plenty of other lovely pubs in the area that do welcome dogs.

We recently visited I had some chips which were very good there is a good atmosphere in the pub and staff are friendly. The pub is a little dated however it's very good.

Decent food, at good prices. Small but friendly atmosphere. Real fire, which was nice. Dog friendly.

Great great fish and chips and burgers. Extremely friendly staff. This is a superb traditional local pub.
