Ellerbeck narrowboats are a long established organisation - not as long established as the Canal which arrived in Heath Charnock in 1795. They both service boats and hire day boats with an on site cafe in an old bus a new venture.More

Hi, each of our boats can take a maximum of 10 people so you'll need to hire 2 boats for your 20 people. We often have larger groups hiring more than one boat. Lucien @ Ellerbeck Narrowboats

Hi John, it's not possible to walk to Blackrod along the canal as the canal winds it's way towards Red Rock and Haigh Hall.
